THE SAD, SORRY STATE OF OKLAHOMA

I'm an old man who lived early life on a small, prairie farm. I was once a small town conservative, but life on the farm taught me to recognize when someone is shoveling bullshit. There is altogether to much of that nowadays.

I am now a liberal, tree-hugging, "Golden Rule" atheist and have strong opinions that tend to reflect my great disdain for preachers, peddlers, politicians and other bottom feeders of society. I am particularly disdainful of the current crop of hypocrites (Republicans, Blue Dog Democrats, bankers, CEO's and religious wackos).

I am not a native of Oklahoma, but have lived here long enough to call it home. I think it a fine place, except for the weather, chiggers, ticks, poison ivy, racist rednecks and the American Taliban. Hopefully, what I have to say will piss off a few people and give them incentive to make this a better place.
